Day 7 - 30 Days of Photo Fun, Ponytails

I missed posting this yesterday so I will have a double post today. This picture, actually there are 3, will make everyone smile I think.

I went to a few of the MN Girls Basketball tournament games this weekend to watch my niece play. At yesterday's game I sat behind a family who was cheering for the opposing team :-( but they were so nice I couldn't help but like them. They weren't the crazy in-your-face fans that make me want to stay home and watch the games on TV.

Anyway, they had the most adorable little girl. When I walked in she was sitting away from her mom just soaking it all in. I was a fan at first site. She would look at me like 'I'm not supposed to like strangers and I have no idea who you are or why you are smiling at me' and then just scowl. Toward the end of the game she got tired and sad about something and started to cry. Her parents couldn't calm her down, she was just too tired. I pulled out my phone and showed her pictures of herself and of my niece who was playing and then the winning photo/video. I had recorded a dancing Mickey Mouse last weekend to show a friend who loves Mickey. Well, this little peanut loves Mickey. I can't even tell you how many times she watched that 2 min. video of Mickey singing and dancing. She was happy, Mom & Dad were happy and we all enjoyed the rest of the game.

 Picture 1: After I asked permission to take the picture - I didn't want them to think I was being creeping and just taking pictures of their daughter - she was not going to smile for anything.

 Picture 2: Ponytails! My girls used to wear their hair like this. I think that is why I was such a fan, reminded me of my girls.

Picture 2: With her daddy, she didn't know I was taking a picture. Love those chubby cheeks. I wanted to pinch them, but thought that might be crossing the line a bit!
