The day started out beautiful & sunny. We tailgated with friends, found our seats in the sunshine and then the clouds rolled in, literally and figuratively. Our kicker missed 2 field goals and the QB wasn't throwing to my man #7 McNutt. The final score was 21-22.
Today I drove up to Pequot Lakes and picked up my buffet. My niece's boyfriend's dad made it. Ok, it is actually my cousin's daughter's boyfriend's father (how do you love that title?). I think of my cousin as a sister so her kids seem more like my nieces and nephews. I didn't get a chance to see family, they live very busy lives, maybe another trip. Here is the buffet.
On my drive (5 hours) I saw a lot of people enjoying the fall weather. Ever wonder what to do with your sled dogs when there isn't any snow on the ground? I hadn't ever thought about it until today. Wish I could have gotten a photo for you. I saw a guy on his 4 wheeler with his sled dogs in front. I don't think he was being pulled, just trying to keep up with the dogs.
Then once I got home G & I were watching tv and we looked out our window and saw this.
Gotta love living on the Prairie.
