Club Membership - No Mom Club

Have you ever wanted to be a member of a club? There are clubs out there for every sport, activity, interest, etc. We join clubs for many reasons: Networking,

Socializing, Volunteer opportunities, Education, Sharing interests, Exercise, and to meet new people, just to name a few.

I was talking to a friend today who lost her Mom a few months ago. I was wondering how her holidays had been. She said that this is one club that you never want to join; the No Mom club. 

I just observed my 3rd year membership in this club. My Mom passed away Feb 2, 2009.  Saying Goodbye to my Mom was the hardest thing I have ever done. As time passes the pain eases but is always there. I still find myself wanting to call her or send her an email to ask her a question or tell her something that happened.

If you are a member of this club; you have my sympathy and I hope your memories get you through all the days ahead. If you aren't a member, enjoy all the time you have with your Mom while you have it.

Children are a gift from God,

Moms are a treasure.

I didn't know how much I had,

She protected, provided, nurtured
